Menu Plan Monday Feb. 6

I think I am on the cusp of having to change a few things around here.

For the past few years, I have been able to cook 5 meals a week and feed all of us with enough leftovers to carry us through the weekend.

That is changing!  My boys have really amped up how much they eat and my little Jelly beane likes to eat quite a bit.

I don't have leftovers anymore.  So, on the weekends, there is not much going on in the kitchen.

I think this week I am going to plan 6 meals and see if that will help the situation.

How do you plan for your family?  Do you plan for weekend meals?  Do you go out to eat on the weekends.  School me friends.  I need the help.

  3. I might not be much help... It does *seem* that other people just drift thru their weekends and lunches without food and I wonder how they do it. :) At our house I plan lunch and supper every day, even the weekends. Then, if we have leftovers, I push one meal into next week. Frankly, leftovers aren't popular at our house, so I try to make just enough. I only have a non eating toddler yet, tho. I remember my brothers eating everything in sight... My mother cooks all day, every day and still can't keep up. Having said all that, I'm sure that I am not normal. :) Good luck on your new plan!
